I have decided to buy the slow stick from Tower Hobbies

but I don’t like the motor setup they recommend
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXWK48&P=V
for one it is a brushed motor, and this means that I would also have to buy a brushed ESC, and currently all my motors and ESC’s are all brushless, and I think I want to keep it that way.
Also, the brushed motor has a gear box and it just seems more complicated, more expensive and more trouble.
The brushless will mount directly on the end of the stick and I just like the simple design better.
I am looking at the 2410-09Y Outrunner Brushless Motor & 20 Amp ESC From heads up rc, because they say:
Looking for a motor for your GWS Slow Stick? This is it!!! I recommend using the GWS EP1147 prop and the WOW-RC 11.1v 1200 15C or 11.1v 1650 15C Lipo battery for great performance on the 'Stick'. Using this combination, the Slow Stick will take off from the ground in just 5 or 6 feet! And you can actually hover the 'SS' if you're good enough - well, sort of :-) You have plenty of power for hovering, but the 'SS' isn't exactly a 3D plane! The low pitch of the 1147 prop gives you lots of thrust, but keeps your top speed fairly low. When your ready for more speed, you can switch to the GWS EP1170 prop, but be careful that you don't rip the wings off !!!
Because I want it to take off and fly without a runway, I want some extra power, it looks like this may do it, if not I can always order another motor and try again, or start with a lighter battery.
