Notes About Engine Parts

I have run across a lot of miscellaneous notes about parts and suppliers, this can make a huge difference when your trying to build something.

First off, your engine, battery and prop all have to work together.

Then you also have to think about how much power your using for a couple different reasons, the ESC is programmed to shut off if the current gets to low,
This is a sign that your battery is getting close to the end of it’s charge.
When that happens the ESC will shut your engine down, but if you have a small battery or small ESC then when you rev up your engine it can pull too much and cause a shutdown every time.

To avoid this problem you need to use a larger ESC and a battery that is a good match.

Delta parts list for building

on the prop saver, grind 2 flat areas where the screws contact the motor shaft, and use some blue lock tight, sometimes you have to drill the prop, in the center a little deeper and wider, so the prop will sit flush with the prop saver, also, a very very good receiver is the Hitec Micro 05S, thats what I use, and never had a problem, you have to use the Hitec crystals with that receiver, as other crystals wont work, or work right, they are a standart size, single conversion crystal, the receiver can be used with any fm receiver, here is a place to get them cheap if you need one, they normally sell for 29.00 and i found them for 23.99 Take care, Chellie
