Today the screws came loose that hold the motor in again. When this happens for some reason all the power is gone, now sure when a slightly loose motor would loose all power, but it does.
This is close to what I am looking for…
They have a complete set $199

The manual they have is in German, and it would be nice to have a little customer support if you had questions,
Plus I don’t really like the look of the boat, the prop is nice and high, which I do like, but the extra wing thing on the top looks a little goofy to me.

Had to buy a set of allan wrenches to try and work on the motor which lost all it’s power the last time I used it.
Turns out that the motor mount is connected at the back of the motor to a second piece of aluminum with two tiny little screws.
You have to use a 1.5 mm allan wrench to tighten them,
And then they worked loose the first time I used it. So I am going to have to try and come up with some way to hold it on there better.
The gorilla glue worked pretty good on the foam, I may try it too and see what happens.
If not then maybe some kind of epoxy, because it really does not need to ever come off. I would have no way to replace the motor if anything ever happened to it anyway, so the mount would be useless if the motor went out.
The second Idea I had was to buy some bolts that were the same size as the tiny little screws, then they could be tightened down more. Of course I have no idea where I could possibly buy anything like that.
I was thinking about trying to build my own hydro, but I can see that it would just be a royal pain.
I could see buying a couple of them, then if different parts broke I could take them off one hydro and put them on another, but to fabricate new parts or even to just try and buy a replacement is way more then I want to try and tackle.
I just realized what I need is a list of current sites that sell kits, and sites that sell completed RTF (ready to fly) hydrofoams.
