Innovage Mini Digital Camera

I was in Walgreens the other day and I was getting ready to leave when I notice this Mini Digital Camera.

It measures about 2.25 inches by 1.5 inches, and it's just over a half an inch thick.

I was looking at it and it comes with the camera, a cd with software on it to make the camera work like a webcam, a carrying case, and a AAA battery.

Looking at that I was just really surprised that they could sell all this for $10.00…

So I bought it.

Then I found out that it comes with 16 megs of memory, I know by today’s standards it’s not a lot but I didn’t expect to get that much.

The camera will hold up to 243 photos, of course those pictures will be rather small, but hey what do you expect for 10 bucks. Ha ha.

This camera is made by Innovage products, I installed the CD and put the battery in the camera shot 20 pictures (that’s how many you get on the high quality format) then uploaded them.

The whole process took just a few minutes, I have to say that it is very easy to use.

There are some different options that you need the manual for, and it took me a while to figure out that you have to push the mode button 6 times and then the shutter button twice to delete the pictures after you upload them to your computer.

Otherwise you can’t take any more pictures.

This camera works great as a video camera for your computer, I don’t know if any other software can access it.  But when you use the software that comes with it then it really works good. 

It will take some great close ups, better than my $400 cool pix camera will do.

The USB cable is a little short, so I need to get a USB extension so I can move the camera all around on my desk and shoot pictures of stuff while I am watching it on my computer screen,
I would think it would work great for ebay, taking pictures of small items this camera would be perfect.
