I am looking at some different connectors to hook up the motor and electronic speed controls (ESC) on a couple of different RC planes.

Then I could switch motors without doing any soldering. Here is one of the connectors that I am considering, it is a 3.5mm gold plated bullet connector.


I just found out that "Tamiya" Connectors are rated for 15 amps, they are usually used with a

16 AWG or 18 AWG wire, on a 7.2 to 9.4 volt pack.


JST connectors are only rated for 3 amps.

ok the same source that I got the last two ratings, also says that deans plugs are good for 10 amps so it looks like they don't know what they are talking about.
